How it works

Our Sensor Platform – Unleash Innovation

As a wireless signal travels from transmitter to receiver, it is affected by the surrounding medium and any objects in its path. When changes in the medium occur consistently, they produce distinct and repeatable effects on the signal, each cause leaves a unique signature. Using machine learning (AI), these signatures can be identified and matched to their underlying causes. This innovative approach enables the detection of events by analysing wireless signal variations, often within less than one minute. Furthermore, the rapid detection of changes in the wireless signal signatures enables precise estimating source locations.

Once installed, the system learns the signature of the normal operating environment and continuously monitors for deviations. If any change from this learned baseline is detected, the system triggers an alarm to indicate a potential anomaly.

Ginigai Case

Powerful Backing

One of the recipients of the NSW Physical Sciences Fund 2024

Ginigai AI-based technology represents the culmination of over five years of dedicated research at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, supported by two pending patents. Evaluated by Safetytech Accelerator under the auspices of the Cargo Fire and Loss Initiative (CFLII), funded by Lloyds Registry and supported by nine leading shipping companies responsible for over 53% of global container cargo, and the Sydney Harbour Tunnel Authority which operated the Sydney Harbour Tunnel.
